Was it four or five years ago, I was the MC at The Alive and Health Conference in Long Beach, California, on the famous ship named the Queen Mary?

It was a fun weekend with Reiki healers, energy workers, Chi masters, Egyptian based healers, Chinese medicine workers, psychics, readers, authors, teachers and a wide range of other interesting and entertaining people. Being the MC, I was able to get to know most of the exhibitors and lecturers. Many were impressive in different kind of ways. But honestly the healer/presenter who stood out was a young, nearly blind man, from Dublin, Ireland. Aron O’Dowd was that young man. The two of us hit it off famously and spoke every spare minute we could steal. We laughed heartily about the ghost tours on the Queen Mary and speculated why ghosts might volunteer to stay on the ship and make themselves visible to some tourists.

Aron and I told each other about our lives and I was very impressed by his stories. He asked many in-depth questions about my using my spiritual tools,especially about how I used them to help ex-cons and drug addicts and heroin abuses in Northern California. One of the things Aron told me on that wonderful weekend was his vision to launch a program and website featuring a series of podcast interviews he would conduct with healers, spiritual teachers and other creative game-changers.

After the weekend Aron returned to Dublin and I to San Diego, and eventually to my shamanic studies in the Yucatan in Mexico. Because we connected so well, we kept in touch by email. Aron continued to impress me with his adaptability and willingness to live a very full life with his ever-increasing partial blindness. He became a member of Ireland’s international rowing-team and competed with them regularly. He also managed to make me jealous with his holiday travels in Spain and all over the rest of Europe. Approximately a year after Aron and I had met and discussed his idea for a podcast he launched it. Soon thereafter I was offered a good job as the public relations person at The Monroe Institute https://www.monroeinstitute.org/ in Faber, Virginia. This is an amazing organizations which offers classes in out-of-body traveling, intuitive medical healings, lucid dreaming, getting in touch and learning to increase your inner guidance, and so much more. Aron invited myself and Nancy (Scooter) McMoneagle, the director of The Monroe Institute to be interviewed by him. It was fun. Aron is a great and insightful interviewer. I had for a few decades been the publisher of an international New Age and self-improvement, magazine named Magical Blend and was in the process of taking over the monthly alternative magazine in Virginia named The Echo World. I knew many amazing people who wanted to get their words out. I have suggested some to Aron over recent years and he has always done a great job interviewing all of them.

Since meeting, Aron and I have discussed the mysteries of Atlantis and Lemur, shamanism, past lives and reincarnation, talking with the spirits of the dead, and countless mysteries and magical possibilities in occult worlds. He always shares unique insights and listens clearly to my views. I have met many amazing people in my life. I have interviewed Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Caroline Myss, Carlos Castaneda, Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes and many more, I have studied shamanism in the deserts and jungles of Mexico, and the Andes Mountains and Amazon Jungle of South America, I have traveled and researched in Africa. Even with all these experiences and people in mind, I must say that Aron O’Dowd is a uniquely stellar person. He is also a good friend. I predict he is only getting started with the great things he is going to accomplish in life. I think all who read this should keep an eye on Sancit.com and Aron to watch him grow and develop.
