Xeno Muller is an Olympic single sculler and a member of Brown’s national championship Men’s crew that gained national and international recognition. He was born in Switzerland and lived in Spain and Germany before they settled in Fountainebleau in Paris. Muller joined a rowing club and became one of the top junior scullers in Europe.
In June of 1992, less than a week after finishing his freshman year, Muller rowed to a fourth-place finish at a World Cup Competition in Lucerne. Muller won the gold medal at a World Cup Competition in Switzerland in the single scull in 1994. Competing in a series of regattas before 1996 helped prepare Muller for the 1996 Olympics. He did not fall short of the finals this time and won the gold medal for Switzerland in the single sculls at the Olympics in Atlanta.
He won the gold medal in the World Cup Competition in Switzerland and Belgium and the silver medal in Germany in 1998. In 1999 Xeno won two silver medals in the World Cup Competitions in Austria and Canada.
